Humber "Pig" apc | Originally in use during the fifties and sixties, they were brought back into service as the troubles in Northern Ireland escalated and proved to be ideal for internal security duties, refitted with additional armour and bull bars they were in constant use until the nineties. Nicknamed the "Pig" because of its snout like appearance (though drivers often said it was due to its handling) the Humber Pig more than proved its worth time after time. |
