Vehicles we all became familier with during Northern Ireland tours. Remember mobile patrols, VCP's and hot pursuits, searches, riots, the sound of stones bouncing off the vehicle and the smell of petrol bombs, crashing through barracades and "contact wait out", and of course your regiment and the people you worked alongside during a long campaign that the public seem to have forgotten - remind them! The bases depict the vehicles during a distubance, with a deralict building and stones and rubble on the street, oil drums, barbed wire and the broken wooden pallet that always seemed to be there. |  |
